CEO of Mandalar Hospital

Soe Myint is the Founder and Managing Director of Myanmar conglomerate Family Mandalar. One of the core businesses of Family Mandalar is healthcare, comprising a few of the leading health entities in the nation. Soe Myint is also considered to be one of the pioneers in Myanmar’s private healthcare landscape. His humble beginnings in Myanmar private healthcare is by founding a 22 bedded hospital in Mandalay namely Mandalar Hospital. The hospital is considered to be one of the first private hospitals in Myanmar. Building on from Mandalar Hospital, he has founded additional clinics and hospitals in Myanmar. Currently, under Family Mandalar’s hospital business division, there are two hospitals with a combined capacity of 160 beds along with satellite clinic. Furthermore, he sits on the board of Hemas Mandalar Pharmaceuticals which is the joint-venture between Family Mandalar and the leading Sri Lankan conglomerate namely Hemas. Soe Myint is also an elected joint-secretary of Myanmar Private Hospitals’ Association
